Start with the original unless you already know you want the variation, because the other two are turns on this composition rather than upgrades of it. Khamrah Qahwa pushes roasted coffee into the same structure, which darkens the sweetness and moves it away from dessert. Khamrah Dukhan goes smokier and drier instead. All three sit on the same vanilla, tonka and benzoin foundation, so if that warmth is not to your taste, no flanker in the line will solve it.

The nickname follows this fragrance everywhere and there is no apple in it. What people are reading as apple pie is cinnamon sitting over praline with a soft fruity sweetness underneath, wrapped in vanilla and tonka, which together land close to spiced baked fruit. The shorthand is fair as a description of the impression, not of the ingredients. If you come to it expecting a literal apple note, you will not find one.
