It is a spicy floral oriental: ginger, turmeric and pink pepper give a warm, almost savoury opening, mango, jasmine and tuberose add a fruity-floral heart, and musk, sandalwood and incense close it. The spice-forward start is what makes it unusual.

It is genuinely polarising. A few wearers pick up a sharp, almost soapy or savoury edge from the ginger and turmeric that reads oddly to them, while others find the same notes rich and comforting. Skin chemistry seems to swing it strongly one way or the other.

It is marketed as unisex, and the spice-and-incense backbone keeps it from being overtly sweet or floral, so it genuinely wears both ways. The mango and tuberose add softness, while the turmeric and sandalwood keep it grounded.
