What is Qaa'ed compared to?

A Basenotes discussion likens it to Dunhill Icon Absolute for the shared suede, saffron and spice, though this comes from one thread rather than a wide consensus. On its own it is a smooth spiced oud-leather.

Is Qaa'ed a strong oud scent?

The oud is present but polished. Saffron, cinnamon and cardamom lead, with the agarwood, leather and amber base reading smooth and sweet rather than sharp or medicinal.

Is Qaa'ed the same as Qaa'ed Intense?

No. This is the original 2018 Qaa'ed. Qaa'ed Al Shabaab (2021) and Qaa'ed Intense (2024) are separate later flankers with darker, leather-heavier pyramids.

Qaa’ed opens with cinnamon, cardamom and bergamot, a warm spicy jolt that leads into saffron, sandalwood and carnation at the heart.

The eau de parfum (EDP) finishes in oud, leather and amber, dense enough for a winter wedding or an Eid evening rather than daytime wear. Longevity and sillage are both rated 5 out of 5, so expect it to last for hours and project generously.
