Not discontinued. Nishane's own catalogue still lists Karagoz as a current release, so the batch year here describes which production run this decant was drawn from rather than signalling that the fragrance has gone.

They are the house's two pineapple fragrances and only one of them stays bright. Hacivat runs pineapple, grapefruit and bergamot into cedar, patchouli and jasmine over oakmoss, so it reads fresh and green throughout. Karagoz starts on pineapple and black grape, cuts them with a savoury herbal accord, then goes to neroli and jasmine over vetiver, agarwood and amber. Hacivat is the daytime one; Karagoz takes the same fruit somewhere much darker.
