They are near opposites. Where Pink Boa is a bright, playful berry scent, Mortal Skin is one of Stephane Humbert Lucas's darkest works, a cold, inky incense built on labdanum and myrrh. Fragrantica has even run a piece pairing the two as the light and dark ends of the line, which is a fair way to picture them.

Cold and mineral, closer to fresh ink or wet stone than to anything sweet. It sets a bleak, almost gothic tone at the top before the resins take over, and it is a large part of why the fragrance reads as an art piece rather than an easy crowd-pleaser. If you have never smelled an ink note, this is the reference example.

Not here. It is treated as an exceedingly green, almost unripe fruit, so it adds tartness rather than jam, and it quickly gives way to a dense stack of incense, myrrh and opoponax. This is a resinous, meditative scent, not a fruity one, and it wears best when you want something serious.
