How is the Parfum different from the original Costa Azzurra Eau de Parfum?

The Parfum is the drier, woodier one. The 2014 Eau de Parfum leans marine, full of driftwood, seaweed and oud, while the 2022 Parfum narrows to a citrus-woody core of Italian lemon over cypress, oak, amber and labdanum. That makes the Parfum feel deeper and more resinous but simpler in structure, and it reads as the more inland, forest-facing of the two. Both are worn by men and women.

I heard the original Costa Azzurra was weakened. Does the Parfum have that issue?

Wearers of the older Eau de Parfum have reported later batches smelling thinner than they used to, which is part of why some move to the Parfum. If you loved the original at full strength, the Parfum is the safer bet today.
