Same clean-masculine brief, different materials. Explorer runs bergamot, sage and pink pepper into vetiver and leather over patchouli, cocoa and akigalawood, which gives it a darker, slightly chocolatey floor. Open Road is brighter and simpler: lemon and red apple up top, Sichuan pepper, clary sage and lavender through the heart, then vetiver, cedar and patchouli. Explorer is the richer one; Open Road is the daytime version of the idea.

Reasonably, because the base is dry. Lemon and red apple are the first to go in high heat, so the orchard-fresh opening that gives this its character is brief here. Sichuan pepper and clary sage hold their sharpness on warm skin, and vetiver, cedar and patchouli underneath stay dry rather than sweetening. What you get is less freshness and more woodiness than in cool air, which is a fair trade for an office scent.
