How is Moonlight different from the original Coach Dreams?

Night against day, and the note lists show it plainly. Coach Dreams is built on pear and bitter orange into gardenia and cactus flower over Joshua tree and ambroxan, deliberately airy and green. Moonlight keeps only a bergamot lift up top, replaces the whole heart with jasmine and rose, and lands on tonka bean and patchouli. Dreams is the sunlit one; Moonlight is warmer, softer and closer to the skin.

How does it wear in Dhaka heat?

The bergamot gives you very little and the base does the work. There is only one citrus note here and it burns off within minutes in high heat, so jasmine and rose arrive almost immediately, and both get fuller in humidity rather than fading. Tonka and patchouli underneath then warm through the afternoon. It is a short fragrance made shorter at the top and richer at the bottom, which suits an evening far better than a working day.

Dreams Moonlight opens with bergamot, a citrus lift before jasmine and rose settle into a white floral heart for this eau de parfum (EDP).

Tonka and patchouli close out the dry-down, giving it an earthy, warm spicy, woody finish that Louise Turner built for after dark. Expect it to last well and project with confidence through the evening.

For her, it suits an evening date or a winter night out more than daytime wear. AUROME’s 2–15 ml decant of this is filled from an authentic Coach bottle, so you can try it through several wears before buying more.
