It is a fresh green aromatic. A kiwi and bergamot top gives a bright, slightly tart opening, a heart of rosemary and geranium adds a herbal-green lift, and a base of cedar and moss keeps it dry. Reviewers often note the kiwi fades fairly quickly into a familiar fresh-aromatic drydown, so the kiwi is more of an opening flourish than the whole story. Perfumer Marie Salamagne composed this 2023 release.

It is often compared to Sauvage, but only loosely. The dry cedar-and-ambroxan-style freshness in the drydown is what triggers the comparison, yet Coach Green opens on kiwi and leans greener and more herbal than Sauvage's sweeter, ambroxan-heavy profile. So it shares a fresh-aromatic mood rather than being a close copy.

It is unusual but handled well. The kiwi reads tart and slightly watery rather than candied or synthetic, giving the opening a genuinely fresh, natural fruit quality instead of a novelty sweetness. It does fade fairly fast into the herbal-green heart, so it works as a distinctive opening signature rather than the whole fragrance.
