The Parfum is the deeper, more mineral version. It keeps the Terre d'Hermes idea of citrus over stone, an orange and grapefruit top and a flinty mineral accord, but the woods, oakmoss and benzoin base is richer and drier than the lighter 2006 Eau de Toilette. That makes the wet-stone character more pronounced. It is the 2009 Parfum concentration, distinct from the EDT and the later Flacon H bottling.

It depends on what you want. The Parfum is rounder, warmer and more resinous, trading some of the EDT's sparkling mineral bite for depth and intimacy. If you already love the EDT and want a cosier, more inward version for cooler days, it is a genuine upgrade. If you love the raw, flinty freshness, the EDT may still be your pick.

It leans toward the colder half of the year. The benzoin and woodsy base turn warm and enveloping in autumn and winter, and it suits evening dinners and quiet formal settings where a slow-revealing scent fits. In strong heat the density can feel heavy, so many wearers keep the EDT for summer and reach for the Parfum once it cools.
