Anise and neroli open L’Heure Bleue with a soft, aniseed brightness, before heliotrope, carnation and violet settle into a powdery floral heart alongside warm clove. The base joins iris, sandalwood and tonka with vanilla for a warm, sweet dry-down dating back to 1912.
It suits an evening date or a winter wedding for her, the powdery warmth reading elegant rather than casual. Longevity and sillage both sit at 4/5, so expect it to last well and project at a moderate range. AUROME sells L’Heure Bleue as a 2–15 ml decant filled from the original Guerlain bottle, so you can wear it before deciding on a full bottle.
