What does Love Mimosa smell like?

A powdery mimosa built out with pear and orris up top, heliotrope and ambroxan underneath. It is soft, cosy and slightly almondy, one of the gentler entries in the Secret Garden line.

Is Love Mimosa a realistic mimosa scent?

Fairly. The mimosa and paradisone heart captures the fluffy, honeyed-pollen side of the flower rather than a sharp green one, with the pear keeping it fresh at the start.

Violet leaf and orris open Love Mimosa with a soft, powdery start, before mimosa and pear bring a sweet, yellow floral heart with a light fruity touch. Heliotrope and ambroxan settle the dry-down into something airy and slightly aquatic, with ylang ylang adding warmth underneath.

It suits a Dhaka office day or a casual outing in cooler months, when a gentle, unobtrusive floral is the goal. Expect it to be long-lasting though it should stay fairly close to the skin, more personal than projecting. Made for her, it is an easy, comforting choice for daytime wear. AUROME sells it as a 3–9 ml decant filled from the original Amouage bottle, enough to properly get to know it first.
