Arabian perfume houses in Bangladesh: Lattafa vs Rasasi vs Armaf vs Afnan vs French Avenue vs Al Haramain

Six Arabian perfume houses are stocked at AUROME: Lattafa, Rasasi, Armaf, Afnan, French Avenue and Al Haramain, with 148 perfumes in stock between them. A 2 ml trial starts at ৳150 and a 5 ml decant runs ৳283 to ৳845 across the six, so a house costs very little to test before you commit to a bigger size.

“Arabian” is a shelf label here, not a single scent. The catalogue’s accord data shows oud, amber and vanilla houses sitting next to citrus-led and fruity ones, so the useful question is which house matches the way you like to smell. This guide compares the six on what the catalogue actually records: how many perfumes each has, which concentrations, the 5 ml price range, and the accords that lead its range. For a single price list, use the perfume price in Bangladesh guide, or browse the whole Arabian perfumes shelf.

The six Arabian perfume houses side by side

Counts are perfumes with at least one decant size in stock; the 5 ml range covers those that currently list a 5 ml size. Accords are the first accord on each product’s accord list, tallied across the house.

Lattafa perfumes in Bangladesh: amber, vanilla and sweet warmth

Lattafa is the biggest shelf, with 70 listings and 58 in stock, every one an eau de parfum. Our Lattafa brand page describes it as a Dubai-based house whose range is nearly all unisex, and the accord data agrees with the sweet end of the spectrum: amber and vanilla lead eight products each, with sweet and woody close behind. A 2 ml trial is ৳150 to ৳270 and a 5 ml decant ৳283 to ৳586.

Suits: anyone who wants a dessert-warm, evening-leaning fragrance without a big spend. Khamrah has its own line comparison in Khamrah vs Qahwa vs Dukhan, and the Asad and Yara families are covered in the Lattafa Asad and Yara guide.

Rasasi perfumes: fruity, citrus and woody, leaning men’s

The Rasasi brand page calls it an Arabian house whose shelf leans toward men’s fragrances, built around the Hawas and Daarej lines. Of 30 listings, 24 are in stock, and where accord data exists fruity leads most often, ahead of woody and aromatic. The 5 ml range is ৳340 to ৳733; the high end is the La Yuqawam Ambergris Showers rather than the Hawas range.

Suits: men who want a fresh, fruit-and-citrus signature. The whole family is laid out in the Rasasi Hawas line compared.

Armaf perfumes: Club de Nuit and a citrus lead

Armaf’s 25 listings (20 in stock) split fairly evenly across men’s, women’s and unisex, and most come from the Club de Nuit line according to the Armaf brand page. Citrus is the most common lead accord (seven products, against two each for white floral, fruity, vanilla and woody), so the house reads fresher than its Arabian label might suggest. It also has the widest 5 ml spread of the six, ৳340 to ৳845, because the Precieux extrait sits well above the rest.

Suits: anyone who wants a daytime-friendly Arabian pick, men and women alike. See the Club de Nuit line compared for the full family.

Afnan perfumes: the 9AM and 9PM pair

With 16 listings (14 in stock), Afnan is a smaller shelf. The Afnan brand page frames it around time-of-day pairs, fresh floral-fruity notes on one side and darker oriental-spicy ones on the other, and the accords bear that out: citrus and fruity lead. Four of the 14 are extrait de parfum. The 5 ml range is ৳319 to ৳567.

  • Afnan 9PM decant (for him, 2020): vanilla, amber, warm spicy, fruity. 2 ml ৳166, 5 ml ৳361.
  • Afnan 9AM decant (unisex): citrus, musky, aromatic, woody. 2 ml ৳158, 5 ml ৳343.

Suits: someone who wants a day scent and a night scent from the same house, and who likes the idea of trying both in 2 ml.

French Avenue perfumes: the extrait-heavy shelf

French Avenue has 33 listings (26 in stock), and the split is the notable thing: 14 eau de parfum and 12 extrait de parfum. The French Avenue brand page describes a mostly unisex range led by oriental woody. Lead accords across the shelf are spread evenly, with sweet, fruity and citrus tied at three products each, and the 5 ml range is ৳361 to ৳620.

Suits: people who want a modern, mixed take, from fruity oud to aquatic, and who are happy to pay a little more for extrait strength.

Al Haramain perfumes: the Amber Oud series

Al Haramain is the smallest shelf, six perfumes, all in stock and all from the Amber Oud series, split evenly between eau de parfum and extrait de parfum. It is also the narrowest on price: a 2 ml is ৳264 to ৳277 and a 5 ml ৳573 to ৳603. Despite the name, only one of the six (Dubai Night) leads with amber and none leads with oud: citrus tops two of them, and sweet, fruity and aromatic lead one each. The Al Haramain brand page lists them all.

Suits: buyers who want a compact oud-and-amber shelf and would rather test a 2 ml than commit to a larger size.

Not sure which of these describes you? The Fragrance Advisor turns a few preferences into a short list from this catalogue, and the Match your mood quiz does the same from how you want to feel. Men’s lists across all brands are in the best perfume for men guide.

Which Arabian perfume houses are best for a first decant?

Lattafa and Rasasi are the easiest starting points on price, with 2 ml trials at ৳150 on both shelves and a wide spread of styles, and Afnan is a good third if you like the day-and-night pairing. Armaf suits citrus and woody buyers, French Avenue suits people wanting extrait strength, and Al Haramain suits those who already know they like oud and amber. Decants are filled from a bottle of the fragrance shown on the product page; what a perfume decant is explains the sizes.

How much do Arabian perfumes cost in Bangladesh?

At AUROME a 2 ml trial runs ৳150 to ৳389 and a 5 ml decant ৳283 to ৳845 across these six houses, depending on the perfume. Lattafa, Rasasi and Afnan each have a 2 ml trial at ৳150, Lattafa has the lowest 5 ml price (৳283) and Armaf the highest (৳845). Prices move with stock, so the live price guide is the place to check a specific bottle.

Can you buy Arabian perfumes in Bangladesh by the decant?

Yes. Perfumes from these six houses are sold as decants from 2 ml up to 15 ml, so you can try a house before buying a larger size, although not every size is in stock for every perfume (the 9 ml and 15 ml of French Avenue Azzure Aoud are sold out at present). Payment is cash on delivery; next day in Chattogram, 2–4 days to Dhaka.

Which Arabian perfume lasts longest?

We do not publish a single longevity ranking for these houses, because staying power depends on the specific perfume, the concentration and your skin. Extrait de parfum and elixir listings are the more concentrated formats, and French Avenue, Afnan and Al Haramain stock several. For heat and humidity specifically, read long-lasting perfumes for Bangladesh’s humidity.

Are all Arabian perfumes heavy oud?

No. In this catalogue the lead accords are mostly amber, vanilla, sweet, citrus and fruity; oud appears among the top accords of only some products, such as Ameer Al Oudh, Azzure Aoud, Odyssey Aoud and Amber Oud Dubai Night. Pick by accord, not by the Arabian label.
