Triumph of Bacchus opens wet instead, rum poured over white peach and green apple, and the tobacco only surfaces in the base underneath tonka and patchouli. Red Tobacco is the spicier and more aggressive of the two; this is the boozier and fruitier.

After dark, and the green apple is what buys it time. Rum and white peach both read sweeter on warm skin, but the tart apple and the saffron beside them keep the opening from collapsing into syrup through the first hour. Once tobacco, vanilla and amber take over there is nothing dry left holding it back, so the second half sits heavy in humidity.
