These notes are the classic iris-and-cacao Dior Homme, now sold as Dior Homme Original. It runs on lavender and bergamot up top, an iris, cacao, amber and cardamom heart, and a leather-vetiver-patchouli base. The 2020 reformulation dropped the iris for a drier, woodier cedar-and-cashmere profile, so it smells noticeably different; confirm which you want.

It divides people. The iris here is powdery, cool and almost lipstick-like, which some read as too cosmetic and others consider exactly what makes Dior Homme a landmark. The dry cacao and cardamom keep it from tipping fully floral, so it settles refined rather than sweet.
