Wearers widely compare it to Oud Maracuja, with one caveat: Fursan Brown carries less of the passionfruit brightness. It shares the woody-oud backbone with bergamot, nutmeg and sandalwood, so it lands in the same territory, just drier and less fruity than the reference. If the tropical fruit is the part you love most, know that it is dialled down here.

They are the two halves of Khadlaj's Fursan pair. Brown is the warmer, woody-oud one, bergamot and cade over nutmeg, sandalwood and a cedar-amber-patchouli base, and is worn by men and women. White is the lighter, brighter counterpart aimed at women. So Brown is the choice if you want the deeper, spicier side of the set. It launched in 2024.

It is a bolder scent than most, so it is worth sampling first. Wearers describe it as strong and a little polarizing, with the cade and oud giving it a smoky, tarry edge that not everyone expects. A light hand of one or two sprays goes a long way. If you like assertive woody-oud scents you will likely enjoy it, but the strength is real and a test decant is the sensible route.
