It is really both, framed as a woody chypre. Litchi, incense, pink pepper and bergamot open it, a jammy rose sits with cypriol, clary sage, artemisia and geranium, and the base pulls in oud, incense, patchouli, sandalwood and cedar. The rose gives it a floral face while the oud and woods give it depth.

Gentle, by oud standards. It stays smooth and restrained rather than sharp or barnyard, sitting under the rose and incense as depth rather than a loud statement, which is much of why this is considered one of the more wearable rose-ouds at extrait strength.
