What does D&G The One smell like?

It is a warm, creamy floral-oriental. Christine Nagel opens it on peach, litchi and mandarin, runs a jasmine, lily and plum heart, and settles onto vanilla, amber and musk. So it reads soft, sweet and skin-like rather than sharp or fresh, which is the signature of the scent.

How do the different versions of The One compare?

The One comes in a lighter Eau de Toilette, this richer classic, and a newer 2025 Eau de Parfum Intense that leans fruitier with blackcurrant and pink pepper. The core here is the warm peach-and-vanilla original, so choose by how bold and how sweet you want it.

Stone fruit and citrus, in the form of peach, litchi and bergamot, open The One Parfum before a floral heart of jasmine and plum takes over. It settles into amber and tobacco over vetiver and vanilla, with patchouli deepening the sweet, woody dry-down.

This is a fragrance for evening dates and winter nights out rather than a daytime office scent. With longevity at 5/5 and sillage close behind at 4/5, expect it to last for hours and project generously. AUROME sells The One Parfum as a 2–15 ml decant filled from the original Dolce & Gabbana bottle, so you can wear it before deciding on a full bottle.
