What does Prada L'Homme Intense smell like?

A dark, dry powdery iris. Iris leads, a heart of amber and patchouli adds warmth, and a base of tonka bean, leather and sandalwood makes it smooth and slightly sweet. So it reads as an elegant, powdery-woody scent rather than a fresh or loud one. It is the 2017 Intense.

How is it different from the original Prada L'Homme?

It is darker and drier. The original L'Homme is a lighter, soapy-iris scent, while the Intense deepens the iris with more amber, leather and patchouli for an evening-leaning character. So pick the Intense if you liked the original but wanted more weight.

Iris opens L’Homme Intense alone, powdery and cool, before amber and patchouli warm up the heart. The dry-down settles into tonka, leather, sandalwood and violet, a woody, earthy base with a soft sweetness from the tonka.

Both longevity and sillage are rated four out of five, so expect it to last comfortably from an office morning into an evening date without a top-up.
